Rogue Community College partners with Linn-Benton Community College to help you prepare for a career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) while staying in Southern Oregon. You can complete prerequisite courses at RCC, then apply to LBCC’s OTA program and complete much of your coursework through distance education. This flexible partnership allows you to train for an in-demand healthcare career while continuing to live and work in your local community.
Program Highlights
The Occupational Therapy Assistant program combines flexible distance learning with hands-on healthcare training to help you prepare for a meaningful career in a growing field.
- Complete prerequisite courses at RCC before applying to the OTA program through LBCC.
- Earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in a six-term, two-year program.
- Prepare for national certification and licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Gain hands-on experience through classroom, laboratory and fieldwork training.
- Train for careers in hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers and healthcare clinics.
