Rogue Community College can help you prepare to apply for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program offered through Linn-Benton Community College. Because this is a special admission program, you will need to meet additional requirements beyond general college admission. You must apply for admission to both RCC and LBCC before starting the program.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant program begins each fall term. The online application for fall 2026 opens in April, 2027, at 9 a.m. and closes at the end of July, 20267. Admission decisions are sent on a rolling basis beginning June 1.

The following steps will help you prepare to apply for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Step 1: Apply for admission to Rogue Community College.
Applying is free and only takes a few minutes online.

Step 2: Complete the RCC placement process.
This helps determine the math and writing courses that are right for you.

Step 3: Attend a First Term Advising Session.
Your advisor can help you understand program requirements, choose prerequisite classes and build an education plan.

Step 4: Complete prerequisite coursework.
You will need to complete the required prerequisite courses outlined in the Program Map before applying to the OTA program.

Step 5: Apply for admission to LBCC’s Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
You will complete a separate online application through LBCC for this special admission program

Step 6: Complete the acknowledgment form.
After watching the recording, you will complete a form linked below the video on the LBCC website to confirm participation and answer brief comprehension questions.
