At Rogue Community College, the Associated Student Government (ASG) gives you a voice in your college experience. ASG is led by students and represents student interests across campus. By getting involved, you can build leadership skills, connect with others and help shape a welcoming and active college community.
What ASG Does
- Represents student interests in college decision-making.
- Builds leadership and civic engagement skills.
- Supports student clubs, programs and campus activities.
- Encourages involvement in campus life and the community.
Get Involved with ASG
There are many ways to get involved, whether you want to lead, collaborate or participate.
You can attend meetings, join a committee, be part of a club, support events or take part in student-led initiatives. These experiences help you build skills, gain experience and connect with other students.
Attend ASG Meetings
All students are welcome to attend ASG meetings and see how decisions are made.
- Executive Council meetings: Fridays from 12:30-1:30 p.m. during fall, winter and spring terms, except weeks 1 and 11. Attend in person or on Zoom. Meeting locations and Zoom links are available on the Events Calendar.
- Inter-Club Council (ICC) meetings: Held twice each term. Times and locations are available on the Events Calendar.
Attending meetings is a simple way to stay informed, share your ideas and get involved.

Join the ASG Team
Ready to make a difference at RCC? Joining the ASG Executive Council gives you the chance to support your peers while building leadership skills and gaining real-world experience.
You can help plan events, support campus activities and work on projects in areas like leadership and marketing. Some positions offer compensation while also helping you meet volunteer requirements for scholarships or university applications.
Most positions are filled during spring term for the next academic year, but some openings may be available throughout the year. All ASG roles require a set number of hours each week and availability on Fridays during fall, winter and spring terms.
