Rogue Community College’s LPN to RN Advanced Placement Bridge program is designed for licensed practical nurses in Oregon who are ready to take the next step in their careers. This one-year program builds on your existing experience and prepares you to become a registered nurse in today’s health care workforce. You will strengthen your skills in patient care, clinical judgment, communication and leadership while learning to support individuals, families and communities. Graduates earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing.
As a member of the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education, RCC delivers a curriculum developed in partnership with community colleges across the state and Oregon Health and Science University, giving you access to a high-quality, collaborative nursing education.
RCC’s LPN Advanced Placement program is a special admission program, which means you must meet additional requirements and complete a separate admission process beyond general RCC admission. The application window is March 1 through April 15, and classes begin fall term 2026*. The program is designed to take one full year (fall-winter-spring-summer).
*Future cohorts will run on a winter-spring-summer-fall cycle.
