Medical assistants are in demand across many health care settings, including primary care clinics, specialty practices and hospital-based clinics. With training in clinical care and medical office administration, you can enter the workforce quickly as a medical assistant while building skills that support long-term career growth. Graduates of the Medical Assisting Administrator Associate of Applied Science are prepared to work in both front-office and back-office roles and may advance into lead medical assistant, office coordinator or medical office supervisor positions with experience.
