Rogue Community College’s Massage Therapy program is a special admission program, which means you must meet additional requirements and complete a separate admission process beyond general college admission.
When to Apply
The application opens March 1 and remains open through July 1 for the upcoming school year. Program seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis after you complete prerequisites. The program begins fall term.
Follow these steps to move from interest to enrollment:
- Apply to Rogue Community College. It’s free and only takes a few minutes online.
- Complete the Placement Process.
The Placement Process determines what math and writing classes you should start with. - Send any transcripts by the transcript deadlines.
If you have attended another institution, have your up-to-date, sealed official transcripts sent to Rogue Central, 3345 Redwood Highway, Grants Pass, OR 97527.
After RCC receives your transcripts, submit a Transfer Credit Evaluation Request so credits can be reviewed for the Massage Therapy certificate. To make sure your transfer review is finished for selection, RCC Enrollment Services must receive official transcripts by Aug. 15. You will be notified how your transfer coursework applies through email and Degree Audit in your myRogue account.
- Complete New Student Orientation and any prerequisites.
Finish the New Student Orientation and required prerequisites before fall term starts. - Submit the online Massage Therapy application. Apply between March 1 and July 1. There are 32 full-time positions available each

Massage Therapy Application - Check your RCC student email often. RCC uses your student email for all official updates. If your email, phone number or mailing address changes, call 541-956-7284 so staff can reach you.
- Attend the mandatory program orientation. A required, two-hour Massage Therapy Student Orientation takes place the week before fall term begins. You will receive details by email after selection.
Massage Therapy Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
You can also grow your skills through short, non-credit classes offered by Rogue Community College’s Workforce Training Department. These classes give you a chance to earn Continuing Education Units and strengthen your current practice or explore a new technique.
You do not need to be a licensed massage therapist or work in health care to participate. However, having some familiarity with massage or basic anatomy can make the material easier to follow. These courses are a great way to expand your knowledge, stay current in the field and continue building confidence as you move forward in your massage therapy journey.
