goals. You can find a step-by-step overview of the process on RCC's Admissions pages.
Steps to Become a Student
How to Get Started
Step 1: Become an RCC student. Apply for admission to Rogue Community College. It’s free and only takes a few minutes online.
Step 2: Complete the RCC Placement Process. This helps you understand where to begin in writing and math so you can start with the right courses.
Step 3: Attend a New Student Orientation
Step 4: Participate in a First Term Advising Session.
Step 5: Review the Emergency Services AAS Program Map and EMS Planning Tool. These resources outline required coursework, vaccine requirements and CPR expectations so you know what to prepare in advance.
Step 6: Begin your Program Entry Process.
Beginning April 1, visit this page to get started on the entry process. You will see instructions and
a list of documents and immunizations required before you can register. This process
is not competitive entry but confirms that all minimum requirements are met.
Step 7: Purchase your Program Requirements tracker through QualifiedFirst. After April 1, follow the link on this page to purchase the program requirements tracker through QualifiedFirst. Documents are never accepted by email or in person.
Visit the QualifiedFirst Background Info Center:
- Enter the code DDCBK-22266 in the "First Time Users" section.
- Create an account, complete the demographic information, and submit the application and processing fee.
- Review and pload the required documentation.
Step 8: Watch for next steps on your RCC Student Email account. Once your required program entry items are complete, you will receive an email from the Emergency Services department with instructions for the next steps. Your place in your preferred cohort — if space is available — will be reserved at that time.
Step 9: Complete your background check and drug screen. Approximately 2–3 months before your cohort begins, you will receive an email with a instructions and special code to complete the background check and drug screen. These items are time-sensitive and cannot be completed earlier.
If you are a late applicant, you will receive this email after Step 5 is completed. Do not complete these on your own, as results obtained outside the RCC process cannot be accepted.
