The Business Associate of Applied Science is a general business degree designed for students who want a broad foundation and a direct path into the workforce. If you are interested in building skills across multiple areas of business, this degree offers flexibility without choosing a specific focus area.
If you want a more specialized path, Rogue Community College also offers focused Business AAS options:
- Students who want to work as bookkeepers, accounting assistants or billing clerks may choose the Business AAS Accounting Option, which provides advanced study in practical accounting.
- Students who plan to supervise others or start their own business may find the Business AAS Management Option aligns with their career goals.
- Students who are interested in sales, advertising or e-commerce may find the Business AAS Marketing Option well-suited to those career goals.
Graduation Requirements
The Business Associate of Applied Science degree requires completion of 90-91 program credits in addition to 0-4 prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn a degree. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.
