Graduation Information

Graduating from Rogue Community College is an exciting milestone! Follow these steps to ensure your graduation is complete and your diploma is issued.

To be considered for graduation, students must submit a Graduation Application.

  • If you plan to graduate in spring or summer, the priority deadline is Feb. 15, 2027.

 Graduation Application Results 

  • You will receive a message in your RCC student email within 4–6 weeks.
  • The message includes a link to your Degree Audit, showing any remaining requirements.  
  • If you do not receive your results within six weeks, contact StudentRecordsFREERogue%20Community%20College. 

Diplomas & Transcripts

After spring term grades are finalized, RCC completes a final review of all graduation applications. Students will receive an email when this review is complete. 

  • Degree Audit: If requirements are still in progress, an updated Degree Audit with notes will be available in myRogue.
  • Diplomas are issued via Parchment.
    • Students receive an email at their personal email address within two weeks after the term ends.  
    • Digital diploma: Available immediately after setting up a Parchment account.
    • Printed diploma: Mailed within one week of verification. Students should confirm their mailing address in myRogue to ensure timely delivery.
  • Transcripts: Degrees and certificates are noted on official transcripts about four weeks after all grades and program completions are finalized.

Eligibility to Participate

  • Complete a certificate or associate degree between fall 2026 and summer 2027.
  • Students finishing courses in the summer term may participate if all requirements are expected to be completed by the end of that term.

Ceremony Preparation 

RCC celebrates your achievement with a traditional outdoor commencement ceremony. Here’s what you need to know to participate. 

Caps, Gowns and Tassels

All graduates must wear a cap, gown and tassel to participate in commencement. 

You may order your cap and gown through the RCC Marketplace.

  • If you ship to the campus closest to you, shipping is free!

Deadlines:

  • Ship to campus (free): April 19, 2027 
    Ship to home (shipping fees): May 24, 2027
  • Pickup: 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2027, at Riverside Campus (RVC) or Table Rock Campus (TRC). Items not picked up will be available at the regalia station the morning of commencement. 

Honor Cords

Graduation honors are determined after winter term 2026 ends. If your cumulative GPA is 3.5 or higher at that time, you may purchase an honor cord. Eligible graduates will receive an email on April 15 with ordering details.

AZP Stoles

If you’re a member of the Alpha Zeta Pi honor society and you apply for graduation by May 5, 2027, you can pick up an AZP stole at the library on the campus nearest your mailing address. For questions, email%20AZPFREERogue%20Community%20College. 

Commencement Programs

A printed program will be available to graduates attending the ceremony.

Day-of Ceremony 

  • Check-in and Line-up: 9 a.m. at Wiseman Building.
    • Line-up on paved surfaces for about 1 hour prior.
  • Seating: Chairs on grass with slight slope; small steps to access.
  • Name Reading: Check in at ceremony to receive a name card for the stage.  
  • Summer Finishers: Eligible if all requirements complete by the end of summer term.

Accessibility & Accommodations

RCC is committed to making commencement comfortable and accessible.

  • An ASL interpreter will be present during the ceremony. 
  • The graduate line-up will take place on paved, concrete surfaces for approximately one hour prior to the ceremony.  
  • Graduates will be seated in chairs on grass with a slight slope. Access to the seating area requires navigating a small number of steps.   
  • Reservations for accessible guest seating in the Rogue Bowl are highly encouraged. Space is limited, and capacity is exceeded every year, so we recommend arriving as early as possible.
