Osprey Care Funds are intended to address short‑term, unforeseen circumstances that may otherwise prevent students from making academic progress. Funds are awarded on a case‑by‑case basis and are not a substitute for financial aid.
Examples of qualifying needs may include:
- Emergency housing or utility expenses.
- Food or basic living expenses.
- Technology or internet access needed for coursework.
- Transportation‑related emergencies.
- Other unforeseen financial hardships.
The Osprey Care Fund is available to currently enrolled RCC students who meet program criteria.
- Funds are intended for unexpected or emergency situations.
- Students may be eligible for up to $500 per academic year, depending on funding availability.
- Applications are reviewed by the Osprey Care Fund Committee using an established rubric.
The Osprey Care Fund typically begins accepting applications at the start of each term.
Applications for the Osprey Care Fund are submitted online when the application window is open.
