The Rogue Community College Student Veterans Organization (SVO) connects military students and their families with resources, support and community to help them succeed in college and prepare for future careers.
Mission
The SVO provides services and advocacy for military-connected students at RCC, supporting their success in higher education and beyond.
Get Involved
SVO is chartered through Associated Student Government [5.1] and is active on the Redwood and Table Rock campuses.
Established in 2017, RCC’s SVO is a chapter of Student Veterans of America, a national nonprofit that supports student veterans and advocates for improved educational benefits. This connection gives RCC students access to a nationwide network of support and opportunities.
Events and Activities
SVO hosts a variety of events throughout the year to help students build connections and stay engaged, including:
- Veteran appreciation events.
- Game and movie nights.
- Study sessions and group meetups.
- Outdoor activities such as hikes and barbecues.
- Social events and seasonal celebrations.
