At Rogue Community College, we evaluate prior coursework and military training to help you make the most of your previous experience and enter the workforce quickly. RCC follows federal guidelines that require all approved schools to review and apply eligible transfer credit toward your current program.
Steps to Transfer as a Military Student
Submit Official Transcripts
If you plan to use VA GI Bill® Educational Benefits, you must request official transcripts from:
- All previously attended colleges or universities.
- Military training and service records.
RCC Military Services can certify your benefits for one term without completed transcript evaluations. After your first term, all transcripts must be received and evaluated before additional certification can occur.

Additional Credit Information
You may be eligible to receive Credit for Prior Learning:
- Up to 2 credit hours of Physical Education.
- 1 credit hour of Health.
An official Joint Services Transcript is required to award this credit.
