The Associate of General Studies – Art Interest degree gives you the flexibility to explore art while building a strong college foundation. You can combine studio art, design and art history with general education courses, allowing you to shape a degree that fits your creative goals.

This pathway is a great option if you want to develop an art portfolio, experiment with different mediums, or prepare for transfer to an art-focused program. RCC maintains a transfer agreement with the Pacific Northwest College of Art, and an Academic Advisor can help you map out your next steps. The Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree – Art Interest may be a better fit if you plan to transfer to an Oregon public university.
