Boiler Operators ensure the safe and efficient operation of steam and hot water systems that power industrial and commercial facilities. Rogue Community College’s Boiler Operator Apprenticeship Program combines hands-on training with classroom instruction to prepare students for careers in boiler operation and maintenance. Apprentices learn to operate, troubleshoot and repair boiler systems, gaining the technical skills and safety knowledge required to keep essential heating and power equipment running smoothly in a variety of industrial environments.

Program Highlights

The Boiler Operator Apprenticeship Program takes approximately two (2) years to complete and combines more than 4,000 hours of on-the-job training with 288 hours of classroom instruction. The program prepares students for multiple educational and professional opportunities, including:
