Careers in boiler operation and stationary engineering focus on keeping critical building and industrial systems running safely and efficiently. With training and certification, you can work as a boiler operator, plant or facilities technician, maintenance technician or stationary engineer in settings such as hospitals, manufacturing facilities, schools and large commercial buildings. These roles combine technical skill, problem-solving and responsibility, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience and credentials.
