Reverse Transfer Program

Transferred before finishing your degree? You may still be able to earn it. RCC’s Reverse Transfer Program allows students who began at Rogue Community College and transferred to another college or university to apply their additional credits toward completing an associate degree or certificate from RCC. 

What is Reverse Transfer?

If you completed at least 24 college-level credits at RCC and later transferred before finishing your degree, you may be eligible to send your new college credits back to RCC for evaluation. 

Once you have earned at least 90 total college-level credits, you can submit your official transcripts to RCC to see if you qualify for a degree or certificate.

How to Participate 

  1. Complete at least 24 college-level credits at RCC. 
  2. Complete at least 90 total college-level credits with a grade of C or higher.  
  3. Request that your official transcripts be sent to RCC.

Once your transcripts are received, RCC will evaluate them to determine if you have met the requirements for a degree or certificate. If eligible, your credential will be awarded and noted on your RCC transcript.

Frequently Asked Questions 

Q. Will this affect my financial aid or status at my current university? 
A. No. Earning a degree or certificate from RCC will not impact your financial aid or progress toward your bachelor’s degree.

Q. What if I transferred to another community college? 
A. You may still be eligible. If you completed at least 24 credits at RCC, send your transcripts to RCC for evaluation.
