The Associate of General Studies – Biology Interest degree at Rogue Community College is a flexible, two-year program for students who want a strong foundation in biology while keeping their options open. This pathway works well if you’d like to explore careers in health, science or research, or are planning to transfer to a university.
Because the AGS degree is highly customizable, it allows you to combine biology, math,
science and general education courses in a way that fits your goals. While this degree
may not automatically meet all transfer requirements on its own, working closely with
an advisor can help you plan coursework that aligns with university expectations.

- Complete a full year of upper-division biology foundations (cells, organisms, ecology and evolution).
