Schedule Overview

The three terms go like this:  

Term 1: You learn the fundamentals of hardware and software, plus take composition and advanced algebra to boost your brainpower.  

Term 2: You jump into the core tech skills — networks, programming and helping computer users. You also learn how to work well with people on the job.  

Term 3: You dig into advanced operating systems and network security. Then you finish with a help desk internship where you get real-world experience. 

Graduation Requirements

The Information Technology Technician Career Pathway Certificate requires the completion of 17 program credits and 0-10 prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn a certificate.

Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.
