Students will be required to provide their own set of hand tools during the first term. A minimum tool list will be provided in week one of the program (may be obtained prior to starting by contacting the Automotive department).
Where to get the required hand tools?
Once enrolled in the program, students will be provided access to student pricing on
hand tools through industry suppliers including Snap-on, Matco and Mac Tools. These
discounts (often 50% or greater) are for students’ personal use only and apply during
active enrollment.
Graduation Requirements
To earn the Automotive Technology Associate of Applied Science degree students must:
- Earn 92-94 program credits.
- Earn four (4) prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement.
- Complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better.
Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor before beginning any coursework.
