submit your application to the college. After you apply, you’ll meet with an advisor
who will help you explore your program's options and create a plan that matches your

Steps to Become a Student
Required Hand Tools
Once enrolled in the program, students will be provided access to student pricing on hand tools through industry suppliers including Snap-on, Matco and Mac Tools. These discounts (often 50% or greater) are for students’ personal use only and apply during active enrollment.
Graduation Requirements
The Automotive Specialist certificate program requires the completion of 58-59 program credits
and 0-4 prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must
complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn
a certificate. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic & Career
Coach or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.
