Redwood Campus

Rogue Community College has open admissions, so getting started is simple. First, submit your application to the college. After you apply, you’ll meet with an advisor who will help you explore your program's options and create a plan that matches your goals. You can find a step-by-step overview of the process on RCC's Admissions pages.

Steps to Become a Student

Required Hand Tools

Once enrolled in the program, students will be provided access to student pricing on hand tools through industry suppliers including Snap-on, Matco and Mac Tools. These discounts (often 50% or greater) are for students’ personal use only and apply during active enrollment.

Graduation Requirements

The Automotive Specialist certificate program requires the completion of 58-59 program credits and 0-4 prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn a certificate. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic & Career Coach or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.
