The Redwood Campus Gym (U Building) offers space for fitness, recreation and Health, Physical Education & Recreation classes.
Students can access equipment, cardio machines and support from trained staff and exercise science students. Assistance is available for beginners and experienced users.
To see physical education courses, visit the Schedule of Classes in myRogue and search for course codes beginning with PE. Note that course locations may vary.

Use the Gym
Enrolled in an HPER class?
Students registered in a course offered through the Health, Physical Education & Recreation (HPER) department may use the gym at no additional cost. Ask your instructor or gym staff for help getting started.
Not enrolled in an HPER class?
Students enrolled in at least one RCC course during the term may use the gym by also registering for Open Gym (GYM 1200).
To get started:
- Register for Open Gym (GYM 1200) through myRogue.
- Review course notes for orientation details.
- Complete a required safety orientation before your first workout.
Requirements for Use
To use the gym, you must:
- Have a current RCC staff or student ID.
- Wear non-marking athletic shoes.
- Complete a required orientation each term.
- Follow all gym rules and protocols.
Students not enrolled in an HPER class will be charged a $17 fee at registration or to their student account.
