Steps to Apply as an Early College Student
At Rogue Community College (RCC), the Early College program lets high school students at participating schools take college classes on campus or online. You can earn college credit, explore career interests and start building your future while still in high school.
Get Started
Start by talking with your high school’s RCC liaison. Your liaison can help you understand how college classes fit with your high school plan and what steps to take next.
Before you apply, think about these questions:
- Is the RCC course I want to take a good choice for me right now?
- Can the RCC course apply to my high school diploma?
- Is my timing right for taking a college class?
- Will my high school pay for the course or books?

Apply for Admission
Applying to RCC is free and only takes a few minutes online. After you apply and complete the Placement Process, you will receive an email with your RCC student ID number and information about your next steps.
If you have already taken a College Now class at your high school, you may already have an RCC student ID number. Check with your liaison or contact RCC High School Partnerships if you are unsure.
Complete the Placement Process
After you apply, you’ll complete the Placement Process. This step helps you understand your current skills in math and writing so you can start in classes that match your level and support your success.

Connect with Your Advisor
Your RCC High School Partnerships Transition Specialist or your high school liaison will help you choose the correct classes for your intended program.
Register for Classes
Once you have your RCC student ID, you can log in to your myRogue student portal to register for classes. Check with your high school to confirm that your third-party billing voucher is submitted by the third week of each term.
