Assessment of institutional effectiveness guides how Rogue Community College evaluates progress toward fulfilling its mission: Rogue Community College provides quality learning opportunities for students to achieve their goals and supports the vitality of our communities.

RCC’s Mission, Vision & Values

For assessment purposes, RCC’s mission is organized into three core areas: quality learning, student goal achievement and community support.

Quality learning is assessed across multiple levels of the college. This includes course learning outcomes at the classroom level, program learning outcomes within departments and institutional learning outcomes at the collegewide level.

Student goal achievement and community support are assessed through RCC’s Strategic Plan goals and objectives, along with associated key performance indicators. These indicators provide measurable evidence of progress and help inform decision‑making.

Each year, the College Effectiveness Council and the Executive Team meet to review results for the key performance indicators tied to the Strategic Plan’s nine objectives. Their evaluations help determine progress, identify areas for improvement and guide future planning.

The short reports linked below summarize their assessment of these results.
