Jackson and Josephine counties (July 8, 2026) — Rogue Community College will host a peer evaluation team from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities for a comprehensive accreditation visit Oct. 26-28, 2026.
The visit is part of RCC’s Year Seven Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness, a comprehensive review of the college’s compliance with NWCCU accreditation standards and policies.
RCC has been continuously accredited by NWCCU since 1976. Accreditation by the independent, nonprofit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education reflects the college’s voluntary commitment to quality assurance and institutional integrity.
RCC’s accreditation was last reaffirmed in 2020. The college’s Mid-Cycle Report was accepted in 2022, and its Policies, Regulations and Financial Review was accepted in 2025, the most recent Commission action related to the college.
As part of the Year Seven review, RCC will submit an Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness Report to NWCCU before the visit. The report provides a comprehensive response to NWCCU standards and eligibility requirements.
During the Oct. 26-28 visit, a team of trained peer evaluators from colleges and universities throughout the NWCCU region will review the report and meet with RCC students, faculty, staff and Board of Education members. The team will evaluate the college’s compliance with NWCCU accreditation standards and policies.
Members of the public are invited to submit comments about RCC to NWCCU. Comments must be received by Oct. 16, 2026, 10 calendar days before the evaluation visit begins.
Comments may be submitted online at https://nwccu.org/upcoming-evaluations/ or mailed to:
