Rogue Community College’s Dental Hygiene Associate of Applied Science degree program prepares you for a professional role that blends patient care, clinical skill and ongoing learning.
This special admission program is designed to help you build the hands-on experience and confidence needed to enter the workforce quickly in private practices, community clinics and other dental settings. As a student, you learn to use clinical judgment, think critically and support patients through preventative care.
The degree program includes 44 credits of prerequisite coursework followed by two years of dental hygiene classes at RCC. You gain experience in evidence-based practice, relationship-centered care and collaborative work with other health professionals. The program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, which ensures you graduate ready to meet the expectations of employers and the needs of your community.
