GED® and Pre-College Education
Did you know that more than 95 percent of employers nationwide employ GED® graduates on the same basis as high school graduates in terms of hiring, salary, and opportunity for advancement?
RCC offers GED® and Pre-College Education classes to anyone who does not have a high school diploma or needs to review basic skills and is at least 16 years old. Students under the age of 18 must complete paperwork with the Southern Oregon Education Service District (SOESD) prior to attending orientation. Please contact one of our learning centers for more information. The GED® program allows you to earn a high school equivalency certificate by passing the following four tests:
- Reasoning Through Language Arts
- Social Studies
- Science
- Mathematics
RCC’s GED® programs cost only $65 a term and are offered at our learning center locations and online. Although most students enrolled in the program are preparing for the GED® exams, many are enrolled to enhance academic and pre-employment skills. For more information about our program, please click on the blue button above, “GED® Study Program at RCC."
Cap and gown graduation is held in June. Follow this link for more information about our next graduation event.
