Steps to Appeal for Academic Reinstatement
Follow each one of these steps in this exact order.
- Step 1.) Schedule a meeting with an RCC counselor at least two business days before the Academic Return Packet Deadline, see the deadlines outline below. To setup an appointment, email [email protected].
- Step 2.) Meet with your RCC Counselor. During this meeting, you will:
- Discuss the reasons for your academic suspension.
- Share the changes you’ve made to ensure future success.
- Explore RCC support resources for your future success.
- Plan the classes you intend to take if reinstated. Please be aware your course load will be limited.
- Step 3.) Login into myRogue and click on the Academics tab at the top of the screen. Click the "View Unofficial Transcript" link and then scroll to the bottom of your unofficial transcript. Then, click on the "unofficial Transcript (PDF), download this PDF and attach it in the Docusign Academic Return Packet.

- Tap on the three-dot Action menu (also called the vertical ellipsis) on the top right of your web browser. Its location may be different if you use a different browser or if you’ve changed the layout of your browser.
- Choose the Share icon.
- Select your PDF app from the list that the phone throws up and Android should begin downloading the webpage.
Apple Instructions- Open any page or image in your browser. Click the Share icon at the bottom centre of the screen.
- From the menu, click Options.
- Then, select PDF from the Options menu. ...
- Next, the below menu will appear. ...
- Then, click Save.
- Your PDF will then save to your iPhone.
Desktop Instructions- Open the print menu by pressing Ctrl+P.
- Under the “Printer” drop-down menu, select “Microsoft Print to PDF” or “Save as PDF”. ...
- Click “Print”.
- When prompted, choose where you want to save the file.
- Step 4.) Check your RCC student email for your Program Planner (created for you by your RCC Counselor).
- Step 5.) Complete and submit the Academic Return Packet, including:
- A statement that covers:
- The situation leading to your suspension, including important dates.
- The actions you’ll take to secure future academic success and how obstacles have been resolved.
- How you plan to pay for tuition, fees and books upon reinstatement.
- Upload both your Program Planner and Unofficial RCC Transcript to your Academic Return Packet.

Please note that if you've been suspended multiple times, you will need to meet with the Academic Reinstatement Committee. Contact the Advising and Rogue Central Administrative Assistant at 541-500-4263 to schedule this meeting.
Notification of Decision:
You'll get an email response with the committee’s decision by the date listed above. If the Committee upholds the suspension, you can appeal to the Vice President of Student Learning and Success.
